Bank Valuations
Bank valuations are carried out on new & old properties,
both domestic & commercial. The valuations on the properties
are carried out for banks, building societies, mortgage & insurance
brokers.
Valuations may also be carried when the owner of the property
wants to remortgage or change their lender.
The purpose of the valuation is to:
- Asses & confirm the purchase price of the property.
- Assess the rebuilding costs of the property for insurance
purposes.
- Check on unauthorised development within the property.
- Visual inspection of the structural integrity & recommend
if a further inspection is required by a surveyor
or structural engineers.
- Confirm the location of the property & assess its risk
to upcoming developments such as new roads, commercial
development areas, new waste dumps etc.
The cost of the inspection & valuation report starts at €225.00
for a three bedroom house. The cost may vary with regard
to location & the
floor area of the property. The purchaser will be briefed
after the report has been carried out & the written report
is normally sent out within two working days.
