Structural Reports
Structural reports are normally requested when a purchaser has
problems with an existing or new property: The problems may vary
from structural cracks, subsidence, infestation of wood, drainage & dampness
problems.
The inspection concentrates on identifying the structural problems
and advising the client on what remedial works are required and
the approximate costs.
The entire property is checked internally & externally including:
- The roof & attic area.
- The internal & external support block, brick or timber
walls.
- The floors & ceilings, chimneys & fireplaces.
- The structural condition of the party walls.
- Condition of all timber floors & roof for infestation & rot.
- Condition of all internal & external walls for rising
dampness.
The cost of the inspection & written report starts at €320.00
for a three bedroom house. The cost may vary with regard to location & the
floor area of the property. The purchaser will be briefed after
the report has been carried out & the written report is normally
sent out the same day.
