The type of work carried out for commercial services includes:
Surveys of new retail & office units:
Inspection of new retail & office units to determine defective
works & the outstanding works to be completed by the contractor.
The surveys are normally carried out for purchasers/investors before
the final completion of contracts & prior to the final hand
over by the contractor . The inspection includes a full written
report which is sent both to the contractor & the purchaser.
The costs of the inspection & written report depend on the
location of the property & the floor area.

Surveys of existing retail & office units:
Inspection of existing retail & office units to determine
defective works in the property. The inspection & survey checks
the property for structural defects both internally & externally.
The survey also checks the property for:
- Compliance with planning permission
- Compliance with Building Regulations
- Compliance with Fire Regulations
The costs of the inspection & written report depend on the
location of the property & the floor area.
